In Honor
and Memory of our K9 Partners
This page is in honor and memory of our past partners
and friends. Our K-9 partners become part of our families and they
become our best friends. They willingly serve and sometimes
sacrifice their own lives to save others. With great respect and
sorrow at their passing, we honor their lives and their memories.
To protect and serve

| Dolly was an
English Bloodhound . She worked on land and water. Her career
as a K-9 was very successful but, like her life, too short.
She enjoyed children and visited many schools to demonstrate her
skills. She was gentle and intelligent and very adept at
tracking, trailing, water recovery and cadaver work. |

| Paige, a black lab,
was at home on either land or water. Whether searching for
narcotics or seeking out victims, she gave her all. She was a
gentle friend and member of our family. She had a
distinguished K-9 career and was loved by all who knew her.
She loved children and enjoyed demonstrating her skills for them
often. Her presence in our lives is still greatly missed. |

| Tosca, a Belgian
Malinois, trained to seek out drugs and protect her master, was a
strong and protective friend. She lived only to serve and
protect others. She would willingly sacrifice herself for her
master. She was a good partner and friend that is still
greatly missed. |

| K-9 Sarge of the
Lamar, MO Police Department had to be laid to rest April 23rd, 2002.
Sarge was a dual purpose K-9 and did many demo's and worked with
Officer Luce for many years. He was a member of their family
and will be greatly missed by them and the citizens of the city of
Lamar. |

Dunja was a
faithful companion and partner to Sgt. Scott Arner. She was a dual
purpose Belgian Malinois and trusted friend. She served Scott
for a several years, did a lot of demo's and made many public
appearances. She was laid to rest with Scott and she will no
more be
forgotten than will Scott. |
The Working Dog
My eyes are your eyes to watch and protect
yours.
My ears are your ears to hear and detect evil minds in the dark.
My nose is your nose to scent the invader of your domain.
And so you may live, my life is also yours.
To Protect and Serve
To protect and serve, that became my
life's motto when we became partners.
I willingly put my life in your hands and trust your judgment.
I willingly give my all for you and if necessary, my life.
I am your eyes, your ears, your guardian and your friend.
I am the one that will never leave your side and will always follow
where you lead without question.
I am the one that will follow you down the difficult and sometimes
frightening paths.
I am the one that will be by your side no matter what you may face.
I am the one that will put myself between you and danger.
I am the one that will remain faithful when all the rest are gone.
I am your K-9 partner and I am the one that will always...
